Ala Moana

I have a habit of avoiding things I don’t want to think about. Ruthless as any government censor, I cut them out entirely. But my aesthetic snobbery won’t let blanks sit, so I replace them with idle daydreams.

This is the beach I haunt. I took this the day I figured out how to use manual mode on my too-fancy DSLR. If I am upset but suddenly, my eyes glaze over and you see a serene smile on my face, this is where I am. Just one of many places.

Someday, someday, I hope I get around to showing you all of them.
